At Busy Containers LLC, we are committed to supplying quality shipping containers and container-based products. Every container is carefully inspected before delivery to ensure it meets our quality standards. This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage provided with your purchase.
Warranty Coverage
Busy Containers LLC warrants that all new and used shipping containers sold by us will be delivered in the condition described at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranty coverage begins on the date the container is delivered to the customer.
Warranty periods may vary depending on the product purchased.
New Shipping Containers
New (One-Trip) shipping containers include a 12-month structural warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
This warranty covers:

Structural defects in the steel framework

Factory-installed doors and locking mechanisms
-
Weather-tight integrity against normal water intrusion
-
Weld failures caused by manufacturing defects
Used Shipping Containers
Used containers are sold in the condition described at the time of sale.
Unless otherwise specified, used containers are sold as wind and watertight, meaning they are suitable for secure storage and protect contents from normal weather conditions at the time of delivery.
Cosmetic wear, dents, scratches, surface rust, repaired areas, and signs of previous use are considered normal and are not covered under warranty.
Modified Containers
Modified containers are covered by a 12-month workmanship warranty on modifications completed by Busy Containers LLC.
This may include:

Doors
-
Windows
-
Insulation
-
Interior wall finishes
-
Electrical installation (where supplied)

Office conversions
-
Roll-up doors
-
Custom fabrication
Manufacturer warranties may apply to separately installed products such as air conditioners, electrical components, appliances, plumbing fixtures, or refrigeration units.
Refrigerated Containers
Refrigerated (Reefer) containers may include separate manufacturer warranties on refrigeration equipment where applicable.
Warranty coverage varies depending on the refrigeration unit manufacturer and model.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Cosmetic imperfections

Surface rust or paint fading caused by environmental exposure

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, or improper handling

Unauthorized alterations or modifications

Improper installation or placement
-
Damage caused by flooding, fire, storms, earthquakes, or other natural disasters

Theft, vandalism, or acts of third parties

Routine maintenance or cleaning
-
Damage caused during relocation by anyone other than Busy Containers LLC
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:

Inspecting the container upon delivery

Providing a suitable, level installation surface

Performing routine maintenance
-
Protecting the container from unnecessary damage

Reporting warranty concerns promptly

If you believe your product has a warranty issue, please contact Busy Containers LLC as soon as possible.

Remedies
If a valid warranty claim is approved, Busy Containers LLC may, at its sole discretion:

Warranty remedies are limited to the original purchaser and are not transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Busy Containers LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business, loss of profits, loss of use, or damage to stored property resulting from the use of our products.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable federal or state consumer protection laws.
